Shroudlings

Appearance- Similar to humans and Gracelings but after generations of enslavement Shroudlings have lost much of their original charms and looks compared to their cousins and appear more human than elf. Most say that Shroudlings are a fusion between their human masters and their Graceling ancestors.

Age range-16-100

Height range- 4"-6"

Languages- Common Tongue: because Shroudlings are generally slaves the character can choose which ever language they want as their second language.

Culture- Little more than street vagrants and slaves now, most of their culture has been destroyed with their assimilation under the human banner. It is very common to see elf slave walking the streets of human cities, most humans with any form of wealth or influence have at least one.

Leadership- Shroudlings have no formal government and follow the whims of their masters.

Diet- Shroudlings will dine on whatever they can get their hands onto but can eat what humans do, fish, potatoes, grains, pork, poultry, etc.

Religion- Shroudlings don't follow any one religion in particular, those that do generally follow which ever their master does.

*Ancestor's Will- Starts off with two Novice spell types
*Masters Call- Starts off with an additional weapon at Novice rank

History- After the wars with the human kingdoms those Gracelings which could not escape where forced into slavery, over time their super human appearance and life spans have dwindled down to near nothing compared to their free kin. With the loss of their homes and even magical prowess the enslaved Gracelings soon began to appear more human in nature, with what once made them great now but a faint memory. Thus the Shroudlings were born. While most Shroudlings are enslaved by human hands few have escaped their masters and caused small rebellions across the land, athough with no lasting effects against the well funded human military.
